Liz Swain

Consumer Sales Manager

What I do at JT

My role is to direct and observe the retail and other consumer / small business sales functions, ensuring we meet commercial and customer experience targets.

I'm also responsible for JT's Retail Transformation Programme and influencing the Digital Transformation Programme.

Why JT

JT offers its people huge opportunities for personal growth and career development. There is such a broad range of roles, so even if you’re not sure what you’d like to do in the future, or which direction you’d like to take, join us and see where JT takes you.

People at JT are like family and it’s a fun and fast-paced place to work. :)

Who am I?

My retail career started in a perfumery aged just 14, by 18 I was managing a concession within a department store in the UK and went on to have a standalone store on the high street by 19.
I started at JT in 2002 working my way from the shop floor, to 8 years later a much less operational and more strategic role as C.I Retail Manager.
For the last 5 years however, I've led JT through a Customer Experience Programme, measuring, monitoring, and finding ways to improve the customer experience we deliver at each touchpoint as well as embedding a customer-first culture into the business. This involved:
·         creating a top-down CX governance framework
·         being a champion of business change / continuous improvement
·         a new brand tone of voice
·         introducing JT specific CX training for all customer-facing colleagues
·         ensuring the voice of the customer was represented internally.

How would I describe myself?  A hugely passionate and loyal person who appreciates honesty and integrity in others.
I love good food, good wine & being in the sunshine.
